With show season nearly upon, we are looking forward to attending ITT Hub, the CV Show and Road Transport Expo.  As a Marketing Manager, I’ve attended various trade shows over the last 20 years, and I thought, given that there are three free-to-attend road transport shows this year, I’d share my insight into each of them and why I think each one promises something different and exciting.

ITT Hub – 11-12^th May 2022

This will the second year for ITT Hub, and if you are a road transport company interested in the latest innovations and technology, this is the show for you. 

It’s an indoor and outdoor event that is divided into hubs, and at its core is the Future Logistics Conference. For us, it’s the conference that makes this show different and worth the travel to Farnborough, because it gives you the opportunity to hear insightful information from some of the most influential and knowledgeable professionals in the transport industry. This year, it is headlined by a keynote speech from world renowned space scientist Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE.

At the show you’ll also be able to experience brand new vehicles in the Ride & Drive test routes. This year it features 20 bus, coach, van, truck, trailers, and micro mobility vehicles.

And last, but by no means least is the huge exhibition arena where you will be able to see first-hand all the latest technology, products, equipment and services on offer to those operating bus, coach, truck, van, last mile and autonomous vehicle fleets.   This is where we will be on Stand 1025 – come and see us.

CV Show – 24-26^th May 2022

The CV Show really needs no explanation, it has been the highlight of the road transport calendar for many many years, and is the place where you get to see all the latest products and services all under one roof. And because this NEC-based show has been going for so long, it’s also a great social and networking event, which is why we love to come back every year and catch up with customers and show our digital compliance services to new and interested parties.  Come find us in Hall 5 on Stand 5B72.

Road Transport Expo – 30^th June – 2^nd July 2022

This is a brand-new two-day show, and this one is all about the trucks. Its being held in Stoneleigh and the major HGV truck and trailer manufacturers, including specialist heavy haulage, recovery and everything in-between, will have their latest models on display and available to ‘ride and drive’.  More than 90 leading brands will be taking part in the inside and outside zoned areas, including us on Stand I1.

Alongside the exhibition, there will also be a two-day programme of seminars, workshops and tech talks to keep you abreast of the latest operational trends.  Seminar topics will range from choosing the right vehicles and fuels for the job, through to crash investigation, freight crime, fleet compliance, operator trials of new technology and much more.

It’s being organised by the team from Road Transport Media, so it promises to be a lot of fun too – let’s hope the sun is shining is Stoneleigh.

Having spoken with a number of operators, they too are excited about getting back out there, and catching-up with industry colleagues face-to-face at the shows, and to see first-hand what suppliers have been cooking-up the last couple of years.
